I currently own a Nikon D7100 with an 18-200mm zoom lens. I teach a Digital Image (Photography I) course and an advanced Digital Media (Photography II) course where most of my students own DSLR cameras that are more advanced than mine. I currently am looking at the Nikon D500 and the Nikon D750 full frame cameras. Any t... Read More

Looking for ideas on how Art & Photography teachers have their students present their work digitally as a portfolio. I'm looking for something easy to present in class and share with each other. Spark is my first thought. I am considering Portfolio, however, these students are 15 and I don't really want them getting bogged down into the social side of it.

The learning of filming or videography has to be fun to have students genuinely engaged. Secondly, the process has to ignite the powerful innate spark of curiosity students have while coming of age in a socially conscious, responsible and healthy way. Thirdly, an educational filming endeavor should strive to be broadcasted live, meaning the filming process in real-time is intentionally designed to emotionally, technically, and academically challenge students; in other words, students learn by making mistake... Hi, This is my first year publishing Open Educational Resources using Creative Commons licenses. One thing I've learned is that placing them on any site that requires a login (even if I must login, but users do not) restricts their level of openness. For example, I moved my Image, Video and Audio resources to OER Commons, but every time I add a new resource it is taken offline until someone at OER Commons approves the update (which might take days): https://www.oercommons.org/authoring/26504-image-v...... When you talk about VR what comes to mind? How many realities are there?

I was watching a video on what is new in Indesign March 2018 update. I was really interested in how to create single page PDF files from a multiple page document. It was pretty simple until I went to try it with one of my documents. The option to create single pages was not where it showed in the video. I have updated my CC apps to the latest versions. What is suggested?

Is anyone using XD to create online, mobile friendly courses? It seems to have the capacity to create great, visually appealing, easy to use education, but would need to create a SCORM wrapper for it if we wanted to upload it or track it in our LMS.
