Integrating Adobe Certification into Higher Education Classes
I teach a Creative Strategy & Design course as part of a marketing major at a four-year higher education institute. In this class, we focus on three pillars: 1) business strategy (defining clear message); 2) basic graphic design and 3) learning Adobe tools. Ultimately the students use the Adobe tools to deliver creative content that matches the defined strategy. One area I'd be interested to understand more about is best practices for students to continue on for basic Adobe certifications. Do instructors typically cover this in a regular, semester course, or is it more giving students the knowledge and self-learning capabilities to do it on their own?
