Teaching a semester long Digital Arts class, HELP!

I taught Digital Arts years ago, but so much has changed. I am just getting back into teaching and will be teaching a semester long course to mostly freshman. I will be teaching mainly Photoshop. Any ideas on what to teach in that short a time? I'm not sure how to effectively teach this in only one semester. I'm hoping to build the program into year long courses where I can teach Illustrator as well, but for now it is just PS. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
