TOC In Captivate 8

Hi I am working on a Captivate
project and I'm using the table of contents facility, as you work through the
course, the TOC puts a check mark to tell you which chapter or section you have
completed on as you progress through the course.

However, if you leave the course before completing the all of
the sections or chapters, when you return to the course, it doesn't save what
you have done previously, so you have no way (unless you can remember) what you
have done.

This course is aimed at children aged 7-11 so the likely hood of
them remembering (without being prompted by the teacher assuming they know what
point every child has reached) where
they last finished.

So my question is, is there a way to do this in Captivate 8 so
it remembers where you finished when you return to the course

Many thanks

Kind regards

Sue

That is an excellent question, and I will need to go back myself and try it. In the past, I didn't use the TOC because I did it in another product.

Hi Bob, I believe I may have found the solution, this only works if you load the project into an LMS which kinda makes sense.

I hope this will be useful for everybody.
