Creativity (in education)

Thought I'd sign post this for people to have a look at, there's a MOOC style course being facilitated by amongst others some academics from Sheffield Hallam, Manchester Met, Uni Ulster, Uni Sussex amongst others called BYOD4L (Bring Your Own Device 4 Learning) and I've been dipping in and out of it primarily because it's running at the same time as T4T.

There's some excellent discussions and resources for folks on creativity in edu, tech ed, social  learning and generally pedagogy which you might find of use.

The other night there was a lively Twitter session on 'Creativity' which is summarised in the following Storify

I'm hoping to run with the next iteration of the course itself as long as it doesn't clash with anything else in my schedule, but the site is a great resource none the less and you can connect with some fab folks and expand your PLN.

Some edited highlights of useful links / resources from BYOD4L:

  • Presenter

Transform your PowerPoint presentations into interactive eLearning content.

  • Spark

Adobe Spark is an easy-to-use tool that helps you turn your ideas into compelling social graphics, web stories, and animated videos
