The Adobe & ConnectED program concluded on June 22, 2018.
In 2014, Adobe joined ConnectED, an initiative from President Obama’s administration designed to enrich K-12 education for every student in America. Through a $2 billion+ effort from the private sector, ConnectED sought to equip teachers with the best technology and the training needed to make the most of it, and empower students through individualized learning and rich, digital content.
In these four years, Adobe is proud to have donated software to every eligible school that applied to our program. Our commitment to our ConnectED grantees remains unwavering, and you can continue to take advantage of free professional development and teacher-created lessons and resources activities right here on the Adobe Education Exchange.
In addition, all schools should be aware of two exciting new ways Adobe continues to support creative educators and students:
- Spark for Education, a set of storytelling apps with premium features and additional capabilities for K-12 institutions, is available to schools and districts free of charge.
- The full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud apps is available to K-12 schools via their authorized Adobe reseller for $4.99 per user license, per year, with a minimum purchase quantity of 500 licenses for a single school, or 2,500 licenses for a school district.
It has been an honor to take part in the ConnectED initiative and to support all of our participating schools. We hope you will explore the new resources available to schools and teachers, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you.
