Since there are ten ideogrammic glyphs in a base-10 numbering system, there should be twelve glyphs in a base-12 or duodecimal system (hours of time, inches-feet and points-picas). Design two new glyphs for the “ten” and “eleven” numerals in a base-12 system and apply them to a selected typeface. Select a roman seriffed type that contains old-style numerals from one of the following five categories: Venetian, Geralde, Transitional, Didone or Egyptian.
