The purpose of the Zoo Connect lesson was to:
*extend the 'excursion experience' with access to zoo education officers delivering additional content material
*determine the suitability of Adobe Connect to deliver content to remote locations
*assess how Adobe Connect can enhance student learning
*investigate the impact of the software on teaching practice and pedagogy.
4.8.2 Classify living things according to structural features and identify that they have patterns of similiarities and differences.
4.16 Accesses information fro identified secondary sources.
4.17 Evaluates the relevance of data and information.
4.19 Draws conclusions based on information available.

Amazing use of technology, it was interesting to see the teacher and students learning together. The students could respond online at anytime and did not need to wait. This maximized the opportunities for students.

A great example of the scope of this type of lesson with Adobe Connect - it provides so many ideas for using the application in the future.
