This is a great project. I have three classes, ninety students, working on it now and they are really engaged in the process. Thanks for the resource!

Nice to know you are using div tags and CSS for student sites! This is really a fun idea for students! Great idea to inspire students and help them learn how to put a simple site together and use Photoshop/Dreamweaver. You may want to go into a few things for students such as how color affects viewers. The Spiderman blue on red in the nav bar for example, would be something to stay away from in web design. Also, there are some ways to help students use better selection methods including masks so the images that are "cut out" will not have such ragged edges. Some of the examples seem to be more skilled than others.

Thank you all for the positive feedback. Yes Maria, I have posted a video tutorial that will help students create their template for this project and style it using CSS.

I have also posted a video tutorial on a different thread that overviews how to create the rollover menu buttons as used in this project. That can be found here: http://edexchange.adobe.com/posts/f4eed7a90a

Thank you for this very nice project. I was curious as to how long students have to work on this project, and if you have any video tutorials for this project like I have seen on some of your other posts. Thank you again and I really enjoy your project ideas

This is a cool project. A great reminder too of the interactivity you can achieve with Photoshop.
