Love this idea Sally. You always do such great Flash projects with your students.
Thanks Joseph. There is something very lovely about having an app you create running on your device. I have some more resources related to creating multi-touch apps and apps utilising the accellerometer. I will try to post them once I have time to finalise them.
Hi Kim,Thanks for your feedback. If you go into the resource kit which is at the following link, you can access this learning activity in both PDF and Captivate format. In the Building Your Game section, you can access the 9 virtual lessons on the steps of making the game. These are the Captivate recordings. I have split them so that students can work step-by-step and also to manage file size on the web. I have offered it in both ways as I know that some learners prefer the PDF whilst others like to watch the how to.
Hi Steve. Glad to hear that I've shared the kit in time for your class. I have seen the new ITS Syllabus and it looks like Flash and Actionscript 3.0 is going to be used even more widely as a result. I am currently working on some more kits and resources on building apps for iOS and Android devices. I'll share them as soon as I've got them finished. John - It is lovely to hear that the multimedia program is still happening at Bentley. Thanks for your comments.
This is awesome. Great effects and sound. So professional.
This is a cool project. A great reminder too of the interactivity you can achieve with Photoshop.
This is a cool idea. I'm going to try it with some of the teachers and students I work with.
The link now works. I apologise for the issues. Our web servers went down and are now only back online.
Hope you find the resource useful.
