I have made it a practice to learn my software package by using the tutorials I found on Lynda.com. They have tutorials that extend beyond Adobe to include Microsoft Office and 365. Corel, and even CSS, Java, marketing, social media, and virtually anything you would want to learn.  THE PROBLEM is that I am overwhelmed. I want to learn everything but suffer from ADHD. I need a way to interact with a teacher or tutor for optimized learning. Do I want CC or is it enough to have CS6.  I am an artist... Read More

Hi I created a 16 second movie clip but it is 60 meg in size (Quick Time Movie) so I cannot submit it for my class project because the file is too large. I have tried to convert to a smaller file but then the file type is not accepted for upload. (I don't even remember what all I have tried at this point.) Can anyone help me by explaining how I can convert the movie in Premiere so it will be smaller and can you tell me what file types are accepted for class submissions? Thanks

I am currently in Europe where I will be presenting my ideas for education at the 2015 ICEPS conference in Amsterdam, and INTEND conference in Madrid. I will then be presenting at the GSE Conference in Malaysia, Future Schools Expo Sydney then the Inspire Innovate Conference in Sydney .  I would like to connect with other AED members and was wondering if anyone else will be either visiting or presenting at any of the international education conferences so I can visit your session or meet in person?

Once upon a time, about 20 years ago, Adobe used to have these amazing seminars almost every month promoting or introducing a new software, tip, or how it works with other companies in every city. As a young student, I looked for the opportunity to attend and possible snag some cool door prizes (probably my proudest win was an Adobe t-shirt!)...nowadays, these rarely comes to town anymore? Everything is now online.Or is it just my imagination....

Hey Everyone, I finally got approval from the boss and am heading out to Adobe Max in LA this October. I was wondering if anyone has any great tips, things I have to do/see/participate in. I did sign up for the Russell Brown pre-con so I can't wait for that excitement to start. And if anyone is heading out there, let me know, maybe we will run into each other! Thanks. -Jeremiah Baumann

I would like to have a comments or feedback area after each weekly session to allow us to make some timely comments for the week.  I am not always home from work in time to make the interactive session and then I feel that I have no other good forum to post a question or give some ideas to the trainers.  Does anyone else have comments to add after the lessons? For Week 4 - It might be less confusing if the forms for the "learning path" worksheets were different colors or had other grap... Read More

Is anyone going to PSW in Atlanta?  I have been to several and would be glad to give any advice or suggestions for a first time attendee. I would love to go, but it looks like it won't fit in my schedule this year.

Dear AE ACI's, I have developed a workshop based on Shape and Text Layers. I have also incorporated topics on rendering, system optimization, interoperability between AE and PPro and there is also some coverage on Au.  My motivation to develop this workshop is to account for the fact that AE has ballooned into such a huge application that the standard Basic, Intermediate and Advanced classroom courses that are commonly held, lack depth and focus. Also, users are demanding for more focused and in-depth... Read More
