My only experience with Adobe is Acrobat for forms and a little Photoshop. What other programs can I incorporate into my education or research?

My sister (psychology student) uses InDesign for coding interview transcripts, survey responses etc. She finds it much easier to use than Excel, with a lot more functionality and the results are visually clearer. She has very basic InDesign skills, but finds it's enough for organising and differentiating the large amounts of quantitative data she has to work with. Hope that helps.
